Recycle me

Return your garment to any Tarsah store, or ship it back to us.

Cotton is worth more than one life. A Tarsah garment that has reached the end of its wearing days is still a raw material — the fibre can be re-spun, or shredded into insulation and industrial felt.

What it must not become is landfill. Bring it back to us and we will make sure it goes somewhere useful.

  1. Wash it

Give the garment a normal wash before you return it. Unwashed textiles cannot be sorted or handled safely.

  2. Fold it

Fold the garment flat. It keeps the sorting line moving and means less handling before it reaches the recycler.

  3. Hand it over

Drop it at a store, post it to us, or place it in a textile recycling bin. Whichever is easiest — all three end in the same place.

Bring it to a store

Hand it to any Tarsah shop during opening hours. No receipt needed, and it does not have to be a piece you bought there.

Post it back to us

Wrap it, address it, and send it to the address below. Include a note with your name and email if you would like the return counted towards a reward.

Use a local textile bin

If neither of the above is practical, a municipal textile collection bin is better than the bin at home. Wash and fold the garment first so it can be sorted.

Every garment we take back is sorted by condition. Pieces with wear left in them are repaired and rehomed; the rest are sent to a textile recycler. Nothing we collect goes to landfill.
